About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2282346 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain our high standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with frequent standing and walking
  • Security Clearance: Basic security clearance required
