Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced sales director to lead our Eastern Canada sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our growth.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in sales management, be bilingual (fluent in French and English), and have a good understanding of market conditions and opportunities in the forwarding industry.

The role will involve leading, coaching, and developing the local sales team, as well as assisting in preparing the sales functions budget and implementing it.

You will also be responsible for supporting sales team members in important customer interactions, promoting and coordinating the Company's services, and liaising with other divisions to exchange market and sales information.

In addition, you will assist in leading trade management bilateral meetings with specific focus countries and self-motivate to drive company sales strategies and motivate/coach team in the achievement of these strategies through planned activities that are monitored regularly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our growth.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the local sales team.
  • Assist in preparing the sales functions budget and implement it.
  • Support sales team members in important customer interactions.
  • Promote and coordinate the Company's services.

Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in sales management.
  • Bilingual (fluent in French and English).
  • Good understanding of market conditions and opportunities in the forwarding industry.
  • Strong leadership attitudes, effective communication, writing, active listening, and presentation skills.
  • Able to establish sales plans and processes with a process improvement background.
  • Well-developed management skills and collaborative leadership style to steer senior sales team.
  • Ability to identify customer needs by gathering information and building long-term relationships.
