About the Company:

Associated Engineering Group of Companies is a leading provider of engineering services in Southern Alberta and Canada.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Water Resources Manager to lead our team in Calgary. As a senior member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a group of engineers, technologists, and support staff.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing technical projects and ensuring quality and accuracy of designs, reports, and studies;
  • Coordinating resources and assigning tasks to project teams;
  • Promoting staff development and growth through coaching and mentoring;
  • Leading business development and marketing initiatives;
  • Managing client relationships and ensuring financial success;

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An engineering degree or technology diploma;
  • Eligibility for registration with APEGA or ASET;
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in water resources design and management;
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
  • Experience in business development, project management, and staff leadership;
  • Familiarity with modeling software such as PC SWMM, Mike Urban, and HEC-RAS;
