Job Summary

J Dass Developments is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our growing construction team. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our Construction Manager, Site Supervisors, and Forepersons on various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of daily work site activities, safety items, visitors, inspections, and job progress.
  • Manage contract documents, drawings, and specifications for project staff and subcontractors.
  • Provide technical support to Managers and Supervisors, including preparing take-offs from drawings and specifications.
  • Evaluate quotes from vendors and contractors, prepare bid recaps, and recommend placing orders.
  • Coordinate change orders, RFQs, and RFIs.
  • Develop construction budgets and material procurement lists.
  • Assist with preparing project completion schedules.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and Supervisor to plan work sequences, ensuring effective safety-conscious production.
  • Conduct regular site visits and coordinate with Site Supervisors.
Requirements
  • High level of computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Strong estimation skills and experience with RFIs, RFQs, and take-offs.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Canadian construction experience.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license.
Work Environment

J Dass Developments offers a dynamic and challenging work environment. As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will be required to travel to various sites and work in indoor and outdoor environments, with varying weather conditions. Weekend and evening work may be necessary to meet the demands of the position.
