Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team at the Government of Canada - Central. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the activities of subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
  • Develop and implement project schedules and milestones, and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Prepare and submit project budget estimates and manage budgets to ensure financial resources are allocated effectively
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to support project delivery
  • Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors and vendors to ensure high-quality work
  • Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure projects meet quality standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings to ensure projects are constructed according to design specifications
  • Develop and manage project budgets to ensure financial resources are allocated effectively
  • Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions to support project delivery
  • Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure projects meet quality standards
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform project decisions
  • Prepare and submit reports to stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability
