Job Summary

Kudos Workforce Inc. is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Generalist to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for identifying staffing requirements, preparing job notices, screening applicants, advising on employment requirements, and coordinating selection boards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Hiring:
    • Identify current and prospective staffing needs by analyzing business requirements and industry trends.
    • Develop and post job advertisements that attract top talent, while adhering to company policies and procedures.
    • Carefully screen job applicants to ensure they possess the necessary skills and qualifications for the position.
    • Provide expert advice to job applicants on employment requirements, terms, and conditions of employment.
    • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and coordinate the selection process.
    • Participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates and make informed hiring decisions.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Notify applicants of the results of the selection process and extend job offers to successful candidates.
    • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
    • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to foster a positive work environment.
    • Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes, while coordinating the termination of employment process.
    • Determine employee eligibility for entitlements and arrange staff training programs.
  • Security and Safety:
    • Conduct thorough background checks to ensure the safety and security of the workplace.
  • Work Conditions:
    • This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, tight deadlines, and effective time management.
  • Personal Suitability:
    • You must possess accurate and efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, sound judgment, organizational abilities, reliability, and a strong teamwork orientation.
  • Work Terms:
    • This is a permanent position working 30-40 hours per week, with a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
