Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Buzz Marketing Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering staff consultation and grievance procedures, planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies and programs, and reviewing HR projects to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs
  • Review HR projects to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales
  • Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs
  • Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
  • Research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints
  • Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Provide customer service
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
