Overview
DMC Recruitment is a leading provider of recruitment services to the construction industry. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Director to join our team in Kelowna, British Columbia.

About the Role
As a Project Director, you will be responsible for managing heavy civil construction projects from start to finish. This includes ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Project Management, with a focus on heavy civil construction. They will also have a valid class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
• Lead and direct project teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation and risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A post-secondary education in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of experience in Project Management, with a focus on heavy civil construction.
• Valid class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and Bluebeam.
• Experience in mining, hydroelectric, and/or oil & gas sectors.

Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $130,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive benefits, including medical and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Location
The successful candidate will be based in Kelowna, British Columbia, with occasional travel to job sites required.
