Our Opportunity

The Senior Associate Claims Specialist will report to the Manager, Claims, managing deductible recoveries within the department. This role involves handling program claim business, including claim files and bordereau processing, as well as other administrative duties assigned by management.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare and distribute deductible recovery statements and invoices
  • Manage deductible recovery process with insureds and brokers for timely and accurate collection
  • Assist with handling program claim business, reviewing reports from external sources, establishing reserves and payment processing within authority limits
  • Perform other administrative duties, such as expense and bordereau payment processing, report preparation, answering incoming inquiries and other tasks assigned
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent training preferred
  • One or more years of related industry experience
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Excellent computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with French is an asset
