About Total Credit Recovery:

We are a leading financial services company in Canada, dedicated to providing exceptional debt recovery solutions to our clients. As a Senior Debt Recovery Specialist, you will play a critical role in our team, working closely with consumers to arrange repayment of past due accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make contact with consumers via the telephone to discuss repayment options and negotiate settlements.
  • Ensure all communications with consumers are professional, respectful, and meet our corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize online tools and problem-solving skills to locate consumers and gather necessary information.
  • Clearly document the results of all calls and interactions.
  • Negotiate with consumers to determine the best possible repayment arrangement, while achieving performance targets and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Two years of experience in collections or a related field.
  • Professional, tactful, and empathetic communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • High level of integrity and ethics.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
