Photography Educator for Adults

About the Opportunity
The City of St. John's, Department of Community Services, is seeking a skilled instructor to lead Adult Photography programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver photography skills training to adults in a group setting.
- Collaborate with the Community Programs and Services- Adult & Seniors Coordinator to consult and make recommendations for the program.
- Lead the delivery of weekly programs in a direct leadership capacity.
- Source and maintain necessary supplies for the program.
- Monitor and compile attendance records.
Requirements
- Recognized training or experience in photography instruction.
- Experience teaching photography programs in a group setting.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience working with adult populations.
- Formal education with a diploma, certificate, or degree is an asset.
Additional Requirements
- A current Criminal Record Screening Certificate and Vulnerable Sector Check are required.
- The successful applicant will be expected to develop specific content prior to the start of employment.
Working Conditions
The program will be held on Wednesdays from 1:30-3:30pm weekly.
