About the Opportunity

The City of St. John's, Department of Community Services, is seeking a skilled instructor to lead Adult Photography programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver photography skills to adults in a group setting.
  • Collaborate with the Community Programs and Services- Adult & Seniors Coordinator to plan and implement program initiatives.
  • Lead weekly programs and provide direct leadership to participants.
  • Manage program supplies and track attendance.

Requirements

  • Recognized training or experience in photography instruction.
  • Experience teaching photography programs in a group setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with adult populations.
  • Formal education with a diploma, certificate, or degree is an asset.

Additional Requirements

  • A current Criminal Record Screening Certificate and Vulnerable Sector Check are required.
  • Successful applicants will be expected to develop specific content prior to employment.

Working Conditions

Program Schedule: Wednesday's from 1:30-3:30pm weekly.
