Project Manager for Target Price Development

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the development of target prices for our progressive design build projects. This role will involve managing risk, estimating, cost, reporting, and planning/scheduling activities for large-scale projects on the Ontario Line Program.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project controls processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Manage target price efforts in coordination with the project director and stakeholders.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with contractors, functional personnel, and partners/subcontractors.
  • Drive the implementation of established proposal development processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience.
  • At least 10+ years within the rail industry.
Key Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expert understanding of project controls core processes and procedures, including cost control, planning, risk analysis, trend reporting, and information management.
  • Excellent skill in oral and written communication, with the ability to present estimating information to management and clients.
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness, including monitoring and co-ordination of budget.
Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
