About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Pricing Strategist to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. This is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive compensation package.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Data Service Delivery Pricing team, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of pricing data to our clients. You will also oversee large-scale transformations, streamlining processes and mitigating risks related to pricing deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the Target Operating Model for Data Service Delivery
  • Own pricing from end to end, including market data vendor file intake to price mastering
  • Ensure proper functioning and completeness of all activities related to the Pricing Team
  • Align processes with Security Master setup team, market data vendors and downstream lines of business
  • Provide pricing and operational expertise to assess market and competitive developments
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in the Financial Services industry, particularly with Pricing data and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to lead effectively in difficult situations and solve problems under tight timelines
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale transformation projects and leading operational teams through major changes
  • Strong client communication and presentation skills
