The Role

This position serves as a key member of the Canadian HSE Team in aligning and implementing Thermon's Canadian and Global HSE programs (policies, procedures and processes) as well as industry best practices for the Company.

The HSE Specialist will provide HSE expertise and support to Thermon's Construction Services group based in Edmonton and to Thermon's Manufacturing and Temporary Power Solutions groups in Calgary, Edmonton and Fort McMurray.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain credible relationships with key stakeholders through trust, consistency, collaboration, effective communication and results.
  • Work with the Canadian HSE Team to develop, implement and administer Thermon Canada HSE practices and processes, including policies that align with Company goals to drive the business.
  • Advocate and drive for the resolution of HSE issues and concerns including internal investigations, corrective actions and coaching.
  • Champion and model our core values, engraining them into the culture and the psyche of the organization.
  • Provide full-service HSE support for Thermon's operations in Edmonton, Calgary, and Fort McMurray.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline and experience.
  • CRSP designation or working towards.
  • 5 years of direct working experience in administration of Health and Safety programs.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
