Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in an industrial setting, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining HSE programs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing risk management support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Liaising with clients, third parties, and internal stakeholders to promote awareness of HSE matters;
  • Conducting accident and incident investigations, and developing corrective actions;
  • Maintaining and updating HSE documentation, including policies, procedures, and training materials;
  • Auditing and monitoring HSE performance, and identifying areas for improvement;
  • Supporting site, shop, and project safety meetings by providing relevant information and actively participating.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an industrial setting, preferably in upstream or downstream oil industry;
  • NCSO or OH&S certificate, and Certified Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) is an asset;
  • Valid Class 5 license with no more than 5 demerits, and willingness to travel to various sites within the Edmonton region;
  • Ability to provide a negative pre-employment alcohol and drug test;
  • Strong leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and high attention to detail;
  • Ability to work independently, with limited supervision, and thrive in high-pressure situations.
What We Offer

CEDA offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $105,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:

  • Monday - Friday shift, with opportunity to work overtime during peak turnaround seasons;
