Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Clearford. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in fostering positive employee relations, addressing employee issues, and escalating urgent matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and address employee issues or inquiries, and escalate urgent matters
  • Post job openings on company website, job boards, and social media platforms
  • Maintain candidate database for current and future openings
  • Conduct initial phone screening and pre-interviews to assess candidate qualifications and suitability
  • Facilitate new employee orientation and applicable training
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints, grievances, and conflicts promptly and confidentially
  • Conduct thorough investigations into workplace issues such as misconduct or policy violations
  • Escalate instances of serious misconduct and policy violations
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures
  • Assist in the communication of company policies and procedures
  • Provide backup support for payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely completion of payroll tasks as needed
Requirements
  • An educational focus on Human Resources is considered an asset
  • Completed, or working toward CHRP designation considered an asset
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for business use
  • Experience using HRM software (knowledge of ADP Workforce Now considered a strong asset)
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills
