**Human Resource Coordinator Profile**:
We are seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to join our head office team in Stoney Creek on a 10-month contract. The Human Resource Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting and collaborating on various HR functions and initiatives with our head office and 5 facilities (companywide). Notable day
- to-day activities will include the following:

- Act as first point of contact for HR related inquiries from employees and external partners.
- Assisting with recruitment, including drafting job postings, posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, reference checks, etc.
- Assist with employee onboarding, including drafting new hire documents, inputting employees into HRIS system, etc.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct exit interviews.
- Provide assistance with employee relations (I.E providing guidance on HR Policies and procedures).
- Support HR projects and initiatives (I.E employee engagement).
- Collect and analyze HR data, including preparing and analyzing HR reports.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, inquiries, etc.
- Ensure compliance with benefit regulations.
- Ensure company policies and procedures compliant with labour laws.
- Collaborate with Senior Management to align HR goals with organizational objectives.
- Assist with company audits.
- Ensure compliance with Collective Agreement as well as submit monthly Union Remittance.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of Human Resource program or certification.
- Minimum of 3 years HR experience preferred.
- Experience with a unionized environment is considered an asset.
- Experience with multiple province legislation is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Experience conducting interviews.
- Experience managing employee relations.
- Experience with benefit administration.
