As a Medical Office Coordinator at Baycrest, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Health Records Department. Your primary responsibilities will include:



  • Processing daily inpatient admissions, discharges, and transfers
  • Managing new referral applications
  • Verifying information with healthcare providers
  • Providing administrative support for filing and data entry
  • Assisting with correspondence and telephone calls
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Fulfilling a variety of clerical and office tasks

To be successful in this role, you will possess:



  • A Medical Office Administration diploma or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and principles
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
