Crop Farm Worker

CN Produce Inc is seeking a reliable and physically fit Crop Farm Worker to join our team. As a key member of our farm crew, you will be responsible for planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
  • Apply the technique of hoeing between rows
  • Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots
  • Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume
  • Hand harvest vegetables
  • Pick row and orchard crops
  • Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma
  • Experience: Will train
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically demanding work
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
Work Environment:

The work site environment is outdoors, with exposure to wet/damp, dusty, hot, and noisy conditions. You will be working in a rural area, and the work term is seasonal.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

30 to 55 hours per week.
