Job Title: Farm Worker, Vegetables

CN Produce Inc is seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Worker to join our team. As a Farm Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to crop farming, including planting, cultivating, and harvesting vegetables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply the technique of hoeing between rows to maintain crop health
  • Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume to fetch high prices in the market
  • Hand harvest vegetables and other crops
  • Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry
  • Clean work areas and maintain a safe and healthy environment
Work Environment:

As a Farm Worker, you will be working outdoors in a rural area, exposed to various weather conditions, including wet, dusty, and hot environments. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
Working Conditions:

This is a seasonal position, working 30-55 hours per week. You must be available for shift or on-call work and currently reside in proximity to the advertised location. You must also be legally able to work in Canada and have a valid work permit.
