Job Title: Farm Worker, Vegetables

CN Produce Inc is seeking a reliable and physically fit Farm Worker to join our team. As a Farm Worker, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to crop farming, including planting, cultivating, and harvesting vegetables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply the technique of hoeing between rows to maintain crop health and prevent weeds from growing.
  • Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots to ensure optimal quality and quantity.
  • Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades based on size, shape, color, and volume to maximize market value.
  • Hand harvest vegetables and other crops to ensure timely and efficient harvesting.
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to promote healthy growth and maximize yields.
  • Weeding and cleaning the work area to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in various weather conditions.
  • Organized and team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a rural area with exposure to various weather conditions, including wet, dusty, and hot environments.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
Equipment and Machinery Experience:
  • Familiarity with farm trucks, forklifts, and hand tools.
Personal Suitability:
  • Organized and team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.
