Crop Farm Worker Job Description

CN Produce Inc is seeking a reliable and physically fit Crop Farm Worker to join our team. As a Crop Farm Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with various farm tasks, including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops
  • Perform weeding and other manual labor tasks
  • Load and unload crates, supplies, and farm produce
  • Operate farm equipment and machinery, such as forklifts and hand tools
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Availability for shift or on-call work
  • Current legal ability to work in Canada
  • Residency in proximity to the advertised location
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a rural area
  • Exposure to wet, damp, dusty, and hot conditions
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling
