Job Title: Farm Worker, Vegetables

CN Produce Inc is seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Worker to join our team. As a Farm Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to crop farming, including planting, cultivating, and harvesting vegetables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply the technique of hoeing between rows to maintain crop health
• Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume to fetch high prices in the market
• Hand harvest vegetables and other crops
• Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry
• Clean work areas and maintain a safe and organized environment

Requirements:

• No degree, certificate, or diploma required
• Will train on the job
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads
• Availability for shift or on-call work
• Legally able to work in Canada
• Reside in proximity to the advertised location

Work Environment:

The work site environment is outdoors, with exposure to wet/damp, dusty, hot, and noisy conditions. You will be working in a rural area, and the work setting is physically demanding.

• Farm truck
• Forklift
• Hand tools

Weight Handling:

• Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
