Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Service Manager to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring that all staff are properly trained and motivated, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee branch staff and operations to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including onboarding, training, and motivating staff.
  • Ensure effective communication of policy and procedural changes to branch employees.
  • Onboard new accounts, accurately record securities and coupons, and ensure timely transmission to the Complex main office.
  • Oversee cage activities to ensure timely processing of transactions.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, assisting with account questions, facilitating fund transfers, and processing checks, wires, and ACHs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of financial services experience with a solid knowledge of industry rules and regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and computer skills.
  • Series 7 and 66 (or Series 63/65) or ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • Attention to detail and ability to improve branch efficiency.
