We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Professional to join our team at Obsidian Group Inc. in Mississauga. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our management team and ensure the smooth operation of our office.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Administrative Support Professional to join our team on a part-time basis. As a receptionist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our management team, answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and performing various other tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answering telephone calls, screening and directing calls as necessary
  • Taking and relaying messages
  • Providing information to callers
  • Greeting persons entering the organization
  • DIRECTING PERSONS TO CORRECT DESTINATION
  • Dealing with queries from the public and customers
  • Maintaining knowledge of staff movements in and out of the organization
  • Monitoring visitor access and maintaining security awareness
  • Providing general administrative and clerical support
  • Preparing correspondence and documents
  • Receiving and sorting mail and deliveries
  • Scheduling appointments and interviews
  • Maintaining a daily call log
  • Organizing conference and meeting room bookings
  • Coordinating meetings and organizing appointments for management
  • Monitoring and maintaining office equipment
  • Controlling inventory relevant to the reception area
  • Cleaning and tidying the reception and lobby area
  • Ordering office supplies
What You Bring
  • Post-secondary education, college diploma or university degree
  • A minimum of 2 years of previous reception experience
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $35,000 - $40,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer flexible start and end times, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
