The Mullings Group Search Canada is seeking a Strategic Talent Acquisition Lead to join a private family office investment enterprise based in Victoria, BC.

This role works closely with talent acquisition and HR operations as well as senior management across the organization to develop and foster growth and diversity in our talent pipelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement short-, mid-, and long-term human capital sourcing strategies to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Support the development and roll-out of employee sourcing and succession planning programs.
  • Establish standardized processes and templates for key sourcing activities.
  • Develop KPIs and related reporting metrics for tracking progress against strategic initiatives.
  • Foster internal talent mobility for succession planning, talent development, and resource optimization.
  • Identify critical positions, high-potential talent, and develop strategies to support short- and long-term resourcing needs.
  • Evaluate and negotiate partnerships with agencies, job boards, training providers, and other vendors.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for executive and leadership roles, ensuring best-in-class service to candidates.
  • Develop and implement relocation programs and manage candidate assessments.
  • Build relationships with post-secondary schools and design resourcing programs for diversity and inclusion.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of Talent Acquisition/Talent Development experience.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or related discipline; CPHR designation considered an asset.
  • Proven expertise in developing talent development and succession planning programs.
  • Expertise in building proactive sourcing programs for evolving organizations.
  • Experience networking with passive and active senior-level candidates.
  • Strong project management skills and experience with Ceridian Dayforce (Talent modules).
  • Strong knowledge of Provincial and Canadian Labour and Employment Laws.
  • Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal skills, and business process improvement commitment.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000-$120,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
