Hotel Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Econo Lodge Inn & Suites - High Level. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Registration and Check-In/Check-Out
- Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
- Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
- Front Desk Operations
- Investigate complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Communication and Customer Service
- Provide information on hotel facilities and services to guests.
- Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff.
- Assist guests with special needs and provide support as required.
- Administrative Tasks
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Teamwork and Support
- Work collaboratively with other front desk staff to ensure seamless service to guests.
- Provide support to other departments as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- Experience an asset, but not required.
The Hotel Front Desk Clerk will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, interacting with guests and staff on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
