About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Operations Manager to join our team at SSS Foodworks Inc. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and taste.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recipe Development and Execution

Develop and implement new recipes for our baked goods, ensuring that they are innovative, delicious, and meet our quality standards.

Bakery Operations Management

Oversee the daily operations of our bakery, including managing staff, inventory, and equipment.

Staff Training and Development

Train and develop our bakery staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to produce high-quality products.

Quality Control

Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our products meet our quality standards.

Inventory Management

Manage our inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.

Equipment Maintenance

Ensure that our bakery equipment is properly maintained and serviced to prevent downtime and ensure efficient production.

Requirements
  • Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as baking and pastry arts or a related field.

Experience

At least 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Skills

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.

Physical Demands

Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
