Bakery Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bakery Team Member to join our team at Bakery on Mavis. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked bakery.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by inspecting kitchen and food service areas and operating machinery as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by preparing special orders and ensuring that all products are presented in a visually appealing manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Work Setting: Our bakery is a fast-paced environment where you will be working in a team to meet production deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
- Physical Demands: This role requires standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, and the ability to distinguish between colors.
