About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team at Five Star Foods Inc. as a Bakery Operations Manager. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in bakery operations and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recipe Development and Execution: Develop and implement recipes for a variety of baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet treats.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient production.
  • Production Scheduling: Create and manage production schedules to meet customer demands and ensure timely delivery.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high-quality standards in all aspects of bakery operations.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
