We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Ward Clerk to join our team in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at IWK Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to our healthcare professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of the unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data entry and database management
- Supply ordering and maintenance
- Transport functions
- Phone and payroll duties
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a recognized Office Administration Program (an asset)
- Excellent data entry skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs/technology
- Knowledge of Meditech (an asset)
- Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Commitment to Family Centered Care
