Clinical Administrative Assistant, Shared Clinics

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to support the efficient operation of our Shared Clinics. As a Ward Clerk, you will be responsible for performing a variety of reception and clerical duties, including answering phones, maintaining health records, and ordering patient tests. You will also be responsible for interacting with patients, families, students, and the public in a respectful and collaborative manner.
The OpportunityIn this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing administrative support to our clinical teams. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, and for providing excellent customer service to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Answering phones and responding to inquiries
- Maintaining health records and performing data entry
- Ordering patient tests and supplies
- Providing administrative support to clinical teams
- Interacting with patients, families, students, and the public in a respectful and collaborative manner
To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, and demonstrated accurate keyboarding and data entry skills. You will also require knowledge of Meditech (PCI, Order entry) and proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, etc.).
