Job Title: Pediatric Operating Room Clerk

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Ward Clerk to join our Pediatric Perioperative Services team at IWK Health Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our surgeons and nurses, ensuring the smooth operation of our pediatric operating rooms.

Responsibilities:

- Provide reception and clerical duties, including data entry and supply ordering
- Maintain accurate records and databases
- Transport patients and medical equipment as required
- Collaborate with our inter-professional team to provide excellent patient care

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate from a recognized Office Administration Program preferred
- Minimum of six months related administrative experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
