Administrative Support Clerk for Women's and Newborn Health

SalaryThe estimated salary range for this position is between $22 and $24 per hour.
Job DescriptionThe Ward Clerk performs a variety of administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of the unit. Key responsibilities include:
- Utilizing OBTV and Meditech systems for data entry on all patients
- Ordering lab specimens and supplies
- Performing transport functions and assembling discharge charts
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs
- Knowledge of SAP and Medical Terminology an asset
- Experience using OBTV and Meditech preferred
You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
