Program Manager, eProcurement Specialist

Procurement Services, a division of Service Nova Scotia, is a dynamic and innovative group of professionals dedicated to helping clients procure goods, services, and construction to support Nova Scotians. We oversee the Nova Scotia Sustainable Procurement Policy and provide leadership and direction on procurement programs, plans, and strategies aligned with government priorities.
About Our OpportunityThe Program Manager, eProcurement is a key role in supporting the advancement and transformation of procurement in Nova Scotia. This position is accountable for the strategic and operational leadership of the eProcurement Portfolio. The Manager will manage relationships with service providers, participate in intergovernmental working groups, and lead daily operations and planning for improvements, innovations, and enhancements for Procurement's business systems.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the eProcurement Portfolio, including leading a team of administrators in delivering user support, solution design, project delivery, and program evaluation.
- Collaborate with policy, process, operations, and data teams to ensure system configurations align with required outcomes.
- Work closely with stakeholders across Government, the broader public sector, and the vendor community to ensure the long-term sustainability of systems.
To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business, eCommerce, or Computer Science, and several years of progressive experience leading teams in a complex service delivery environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
A successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in delivering technology-based projects, leading a team of technical professionals, coaching team members to achieve established objectives, establishing program objectives, and evaluating program effectiveness.
