About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team at the Government of Nova Scotia. As a key member of our Procurement Services division, you will play a critical role in supporting the advancement and transformation of procurement in Nova Scotia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic and operational leadership of the eProcurement Portfolio
  • Manage relationships with service providers and participate in intergovernmental working groups
  • Lead the daily operation and outward planning of improvements, innovations, and enhancements for Procurement's business systems
  • Develop and manage a team of administrators in delivering user support, solution design, project delivery, and program evaluation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Business, eCommerce, Computer Science, etc.)
  • Several years of progressive experience leading teams in a complex service delivery environment
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering technology-based projects, leading a team of technical professionals, coaching team members to achieve established objectives, establishing program objectives, and evaluating program effectiveness
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters' degree in a related discipline
  • Experience leading change management initiatives
  • Experience in public procurement
  • Experience with related SAP Products (Ariba, S4 Hana, ECC)
