Oversight Coordinator

As an Oversight Coordinator - Vehicle Maintenance and Route Optimization with Royce Logistics Ltd, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our fleet. This position requires a skilled individual to oversee the condition of vehicles, plan routes for optimal fuel consumption and carbon emissions, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues, perform brake adjustments, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
- Route Planning and Optimization: Plan or adjust routes using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
- Cargo Security and Management: Ensure the safety and security of cargo by tarping and inspecting it regularly.
- Communication and Record-Keeping: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Certificates and Licenses: Possess a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and have a valid passport.
- Transportation Experience: Have experience in long-haul transportation.
- Physical Demands: Be able to handle physically demanding tasks, work in a large workload environment, and meet repetitive task requirements.
- Weight Handling: Be capable of handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Hours of Work: Work a maximum of 60 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
- Language and Culture: Communicate effectively in English and work in a multicultural environment.
