BMO is seeking an experienced Administrative Associate to support its Wealth Sales and Service team. This role plays a crucial part in the branch operations, providing exceptional client service and contributing to the achievement of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate marketing activities on behalf of the advisory team, including website updates, social media initiatives, and client recognition for meaningful life events.
  • Schedule and prepare client portfolio reviews, setting up client calls, meetings, and preparing reviews for Investment Advisors.
  • Follow up on client inquiries, account maintenance, new accounts set-up, transfers, and remitting funds from registered and non-registered accounts.
  • Resolve client complaints in a timely and effective manner, escalating as required.
  • Accept and execute client-initiated trades over the phone or in person and provide stock information as requested.
Requirements:
  • Typically 3-5 years of relevant experience and/or certification in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of investment processes, administrative procedures, proprietary products, and services.
  • Knowledge of compliance practices, regulations, insurance, group products, trust and estate services, financial planning, and trade processing rules.
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Handbook.
  • Current registration as an Investment Representative (IR).

This is a salaried and commission-based position with a competitive salary range of $35,000-$64,900 per year, depending on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications.
