About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Terrain Park Manager to join our team at Grouse Mountain. As a key member of our Mountain Operations department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our terrain parks, ensuring a high-quality product for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise terrain park staff, ensuring they are trained and equipped to provide exceptional customer service and maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Design, construct, and maintain terrain parks, including feature creation and maintenance, to meet the needs of our customers and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
  • Work closely with the Marketing/Events department to plan and execute terrain park-related events and activities, including social media and media liaison.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Snowmaking and Grooming Operations, to ensure seamless operations and optimal snow conditions.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns, and ensuring that all customer interactions are positive and memorable.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the terrain park industry and ski resort operations.
  • Strong understanding of freestyle terrain and design experience.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, rotating schedule, and lift heavy objects.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to provide guidance and direction to team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
