Salary and Benefits

The estimated base salary range for this role is between $270,000 - $350,000 per annum, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes stock options, 401k, medical/dental coverage, and more.

Job Description

This CFO will be responsible for managing the company's financial health, developing scalable financial infrastructure, and providing strategic insights to guide business decisions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and execution of the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Providing strategic recommendations on financial planning, capital management, and growth opportunities.
  • Designing and implementing financial models to support scaling operations, product development, and market expansion.
  • Overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Implementing processes and systems to enhance financial visibility and control across the company.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and financial standards.
  • Managing the company's liquidity, cash flow, and investment strategies to support operational growth and financial stability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and at least 8-10 years of experience in a senior financial leadership position, preferably within a software or technology company. You should also possess:

  • Proven track record of managing financial strategy, operations, and capital in a high-growth environment.
  • Deep understanding of software business models, including SaaS and revenue recognition rules.
  • Experience with scaling companies.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to build and inspire a finance team.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights and strategies to non-financial stakeholders and investors.
