Chief Taxation Strategist

EngineerUK seeks a highly skilled Chief Taxation Strategist to join our dynamic team. As a trusted advisor, you will lead multiple client-facing engagement teams responsible for tax engagements, delivering industry and technical expertise through client interactions, reports, and management presentations.

• Lead comprehensive in-depth tax research initiatives to analyze and interpret complex tax laws and regulations.
• Oversee corporate re-organizations projects to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Manage a portfolio of clients while understanding their business, key risks, and ways to deliver added value.
• Accountable for engagement planning and scheduling as well as project financials (i.e., budgets, WIPS, timely billing, collection, and variance recognition).
• Maintain high-quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify, and address issues relevant to the client's business, financial entries, and reports.

• CPA designation.
• Completion of Level 1 of In-depth Tax Program and other specialist development courses.
• 4 to 5 years of relevant public accounting or tax consulting experience.
• Extensive working knowledge of Canadian Tax.
• Strong understanding of business, accounting, management, and practice development principles.
• Proven people management, relationship building, and leadership skills.
