About the Job

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Business Development to lead our business growth initiatives across all market segments. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive revenue growth, identify new opportunities, and build strong relationships with customers and partners.

The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of experience in business development, capture management, and/or program management within high-tech organizations, preferably in the space, defense, or intelligence sectors. A degree in electronic systems engineering or a related field is also required.

You will be responsible for analyzing customer needs, understanding market and competitive forces, developing relationships with key customers, and executing pursuit plans to close new contracts and win RFPs. You will also participate in market analyses, assess win probabilities, and contribute to technical, management, past performance, and cost documents.

As a seasoned professional, you will be able to write proposal sections, review and edit work products from others, and work with outside legal counsel as required. Your ability to provide overall leadership on proposal process methods and tools will be essential in driving our business growth forward.
