About the Role:

The Associate Director, Strategy will play a key role in maintaining reporting on strategic priorities, project managing strategic initiatives, and supporting strategy development. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining meeting minutes, contributing to designing meeting agendas, and ensuring follow-up items are completed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enable informed executive decision-making through the production of competitive analyses and ad-hoc research pieces that describe the industry and competitive landscape, emerging trends, and business opportunities.
  • Innovate by looking within & outside of RBC to identify opportunities to advance the business and improve client and business outcomes.
  • Drive the execution of the GAM strategy, including creation of strategic narratives, roadmaps, and progress reports.
  • Lead select engagements alongside business and functional executives that will support business growth.
  • Lead the quarterly strategic review processes across global lines of business in support of achieving strategic objectives, business performance goals, and financial targets.
  • Evolving the architecture for measuring progress against strategic priorities.
  • Develop materials to clearly communicate and present the GAM strategy across a variety of forums.
  • Establish cross-business and cross-functional connectivity and collaboration to ensure ongoing strategic alignment.
  • Maintaining meeting minutes for Leadership Committee meetings.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Math, Engineering, or Liberal Arts.
  • 5 - 10 years of finance, investment management, consulting, or related experience, preferably in Financial Services.
  • Strong organizational skills/project management experience.
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.

Salary Information:

We offer a competitive salary in the range of $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will have access to a comprehensive Total Rewards Program, including bonuses and flexible benefits, competitive compensation, and stock where applicable.
