**Job Summary**

Professional Staffing is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team in a search for a global leader in the development of pharmaceuticals and vaccines. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations in the HR department for Canada and the United States.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Oversee the full-cycle of recruitment efforts in the US and Canada, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
  • Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts, and employee termination processes to ensure a seamless transition for new employees.
  • Administer benefits programs, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) and other employee benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Workers' Compensation, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience with USA employment regulations, including familiarity with FLSA, Workers' Compensation, FMLA, PPACA, and ADA.
  • 3+ years of experience working in Human Resources, with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, and employee experience.
  • HRIS experience, including Workday, Bamboo HR, UKG, and Taleo.
