Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team at ON-TIME HUMAN RESOURCES - MISSISSAUGA. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering staff consultation and grievance procedures, identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, and providing information or services to employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing and Recruitment
    • Collect and screen applicants
    • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
    • Review candidate inventories
    • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
    • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
    • Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
  • Employee Relations
    • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
    • Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate termination of employment process
    • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
  • HR Administration
    • Prepare and post notices and advertisements
    • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing and record-keeping duties
    • Recruit and hire staff
    Work Environment

The Human Resources Officer will work in a fast-paced environment, working under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver results. The successful candidate will be a team player with efficient interpersonal skills and a strong ability to work in a dynamic environment.
