About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team at ON-TIME HUMAN RESOURCES - MISSISSAUGA. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering staff consultation and grievance procedures, identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, and providing information or services to employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Staffing: Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures, identify current and prospective staffing requirements, and provide information or services to employees.
  • Staffing Administration: Prepare and post notices and advertisements, collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Selection and Examination Boards: Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates, notify applicants of results of selection process, and prepare job offers.
  • Staffing Policies and Procedures: Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, and negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes.
  • Staff Development: Determine eligibility to entitlements, arrange staff training, and supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.

The Human Resources Officer will work in a fast-paced environment, working under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver results. The successful candidate will be a team player with efficient interpersonal skills and a strong ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week
