About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Officer, Events to join our Revenue Development team at the BC SPCA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of various fundraising and stewardship events, with a primary focus on the Offleashed Vancouver Gala.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies for events, including the Offleashed Vancouver Gala, Offleashed Victoria Gala, and two Fur Balls.
  • Collaborate with the Philanthropy team and event committees to optimize relationship-building opportunities and grow support for events.
  • Manage vendor relationships, fundraising volunteers, and event logistics, including budgeting, timelines, and sponsor recognition.
  • Provide formal and informal guidance and training to colleagues and volunteers.
  • Work with data to evaluate event success and provide regular reporting.
What We're Looking For

We are seeking a results-oriented and adaptable individual with a strong understanding of events and fundraising strategy. You will have a proven track record of creating, monitoring, and analyzing annual plans and budgets, as well as managing vendor relationships and fundraising volunteers.
