About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Director, Membership & Sales to lead our membership team and drive growth in Vancouver. This role involves developing and executing strategies to grow membership numbers, retain current members, and uncover corporate partners.
About the Position
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Attending sales and networking events to build relationships and drive membership sales.
- Developing and implementing retention strategies to maintain current membership levels.
- Partnering with marketing to create effective membership campaigns.
- Identifying and building corporate partnerships to increase revenue.
- Leading the membership team to achieve sales targets and develop a high-performing team.
- Conducting on-site member tours and facility introductions to showcase our member benefits.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in business, hospitality, or a related field.
- Proven sales skills and experience in building and managing a high-performing team.
- A background in sales leadership, with a history of exceeding KPIs.
- Experience in building and managing department budgets.
- A strong network and ability to uncover and build corporate relationships.
- Flexibility to work outside of normal hours, including networking events and sales meetings.
