Director of Membership and Sales Opportunity

The Vancouver Club, a distinguished private members club, is seeking an experienced Director of Membership and Sales to lead our Membership department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of membership operations, including training, leading, and motivating the Membership team, developing and maintaining a sales plan, and overseeing all sales activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive membership growth and retention.
  • Lead and motivate the Membership team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop their sales skills and provide ongoing training and coaching.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Develop and manage the membership and marketing budget, ensuring effective use of resources.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in business, hospitality, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales leadership, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Proven ability to build and manage high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with a keen understanding of sales strategies and tactics.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and other relevant software.
